ABOUT THE COMPANY
When was the company founded? Company history dates back to 1908, when it was founded by Josef Blazek in Chlumec nad Cidlinou. The company's activities were suspended for 40 years (1951-1991) and refounded in 1991 under the name J&B Josef Blazek. The company is now led by the great-grandson of the founder, Pavel Blazek and performs under the name Pavel Blazek, balicí stroje s. r. o. on the market.
How many branches does the company have around the world? The company has only one branch, a production plant and sales office in Vlašim that covers production for the whole world. Official representative is provided by Thomas Schwarze in Germany.
In what most exotic country is your packaging machine placed? We have packaging machines worldwide, the most interesting countries are for example Guadeloupe, Haiti or Ecuador. Most packaging machine are located in France and most distant country is New Zealand.
In what countries have representation? Exclusive representation for Germany and France is provided by Schwarze Automation, in Greece IMA Packaging. Our company is also working with external vendors from Slovakia, Poland, the Netherlands and Scandinavia.
Do you participate on international trade fairs? Which? Every year we participate at Interpack in Düsseldorf, a trade fair Emballage in Paris and FachPack in Nürnberg.
ABOUT INQUIRIES, OFFERS, PURCHASES
What information is important for preparation of a price estimation? To prepare a quotation we need at least the following basic information: packed product type, filled amount, desired bag format, desired output. Of course, the more facts we know, the more accurate quotation will be. We have prepared a simple online inquiry form. We will contact you via email you provide.
What ways of payment do you accept when paying for ordered packaging machines and its accessories? We only accept payment by bank transfer according to agreed payment terms that are listed in the quotation, and in the purchase contract.
In what languages can I get a quote? Quotations can be prepared in Czech, English and German.
Do you offer second hand packaging machines? Not in general. If such a case occurs, the offered packaging machines will be published on our website.

What is the maximum bag length the packaging machine can produce? Maximum bag length can be up to 250 mm, ABG packaging machine produces bags 1120 mm long.
What bag types the packaging machine can produce? Our packaging machines pack goods into flat bags, flat boiling bags, pyramidal bags, pyramidal boiling bags, stickpacks, boiling stickpacks, bulk bags with folded bottom and double chamber bags.
What is the smallest and the largest bag measurement the packaging machines can produce? The smallest bag may have dimensions 10x40 mm (ABM EN) and the largest 500x1120 mm (ABG).
Do you provide packing materials? No, we only provide recommendations to customers on the suitability of packaging films. Furthermore we supply the customers with plan printing on the foil according to which the foil supplier prints the graphics. The customer ensures graphical design and printing at his own expense.

How are the packaging machines controlled? Packaging machines are controlled by Siemens control system with colour touch screen.
May the packaging machines be included in filling and packaging lines? Yes, they can be part of a complete production technology composed of different machines communicating one with another, such as filling and packaging line for wood pellets: filling conveyor bringing product into a hopper, dosing equipment, packaging machinery, exit conveyor, palletizers, depalletiser, wrapping equipment, labeling equipment, roller track, conveyor to a big bag filler, fencing. Our company ensures all parts of the line.
How many packaging machines have you manufactured? Since the beginning of manufacturing packaging technology we have produced around 700 pieces of packaging machines.
What material are the packaging machines made of? Packaging machines are made of iron / stainless steel of the highest quality. For food packing the parts that come in contact with packed product are made of stainless steel AISI 304, also at a special wish of stainless steel AISI 316L.
It is packaging machine provided with dosing equipment? In most cases yes, a dosing equipment is not supplied together with packaging machine only in cases where the customer does not want it.
What is a tube? A tube is a part of a packaging machine that shapes the final package as well as the "tube" for supplying the dosed goods into a shaped bag.

In what environment can the packaging machine be located? Packaging machine must be placed inside, in a dry and dust-free environment. Humidity and dust can damage the packaging machine!
Can packaging machines pack more goods at the same time? Yes, it is possible, for example, packaging machine Doublestick or double-format packaging machine ABM EN.
Can packaging machines pack goods into bags of different sizes? Yes, packaging machines can be converted to other formats (different bag measurements). This requirement may be present during the initial contact with the sales department, but even already used packaging machine can be converted to a different size bag (or different number of tubes). To change the format, it is necessary to simply replace few parts.
How long does a packaging machine conversion take? It depends on the packaging machine type, the number of tubes and the skill of the operator. Generally around 40-60 min.
Are your packaging machine suitable for hot liquids packing (above 80 °C)? Yes, there is no problem to meet such requirement.
Is manual a part of packaging machine? Yes, we provide technical manuals and instructions and electromanual, it can be chosen from Czech, English, German or French language, other languages can these manuals be delivered on request and at an additional cost.
What are the steps if the packaging machine or its accessories show signs of failure/fail? It is necessary to call the manufacturer/supplier, to inform him about all relevant information and any failure condition, the manufacturer/supplier evaluates the problem further and proposes solutions.
Are your packaging machines ecological? The packaging machine operation does not create excess of waste. When the packaging machine is put into operation it is necessary to produce about 15 cycles with empty bags. This waste is automatically separated and then disposed of as recyclable material. Other waste does not occur during packaging machine operation. After decommissioning of the packaging machine the technology does not include parts that stand out of the conventional engineering structures. The presence of any materials or gases having negative impact on the environment is excluded! The covering is made of Makrolon, which is commercially liquidated acrylate. The steel frame is made of metallurgical materials, therefore a secondary raw material.
What are the delivery terms? Packaging machines and accessories are supplied according to the complexity of the packaging machine and workload between 2-4 months.
Do you keep packaging machines in stock? We do not have any packaging machines in stock. Each packaging machine is made on the basis of specific and individual requirements of an individual customer.
ABOUT ACCESSORIES
Is one type of dosing equipment used for all types of packed goods? No, each commodity has a different texture, different characteristics, so a dosing device is recommended according to the specific packed goods.
Is packaging machine supplied with a dosing device? In most cases is, a packaging machine without dosing equipment is supplied only in cases where the customer does not want it.

ABOUT TRANSPORT, COMMISSIONING, TRAINING, WARRANTY, SERVICING
What is fumigation and what is it used? Fumigation is a heat treatment of wooden packaging for transportation of goods to various exotic countries and others that require such treatment against pests. Wooden boxes are marked with ISPM 15.
Are transport/shipping costs included in a price offer? Price for transportation is announced later, or customers shall organize shipping themselves. Price also does not include costs for meal allowance and accommodations service for technicians.
What is the warranty period you provide for your packaging machines? The warranty period is 12 months.
What happens when some part of the packaging machine is damaged within the warranty period? The defective part is immediately replaced by a new one, and for free.
Are spare parts included in the packaging machine delivery? Yes, tools and basic spare parts that wear out most by the operations are included in the packaging machine delivery. List of spare parts is mentioned in the technical manual.
Do you offer general overhaul for your older packaging machines? Yes. It is always necessary to contact the sales department; based on your information (what needs to be replaced, the serial number of packing machines, etc.) we will prepare a quotation. Packaging machine is then transported to the factory in Vlašim where the general repair is held.
How is the training of packaging machine operation handled? Free training takes place either in the factory of the manufacturer/supplier at the time of the packaging machine handover or in the production plant of the customer during the packaging machine installation.
Is the packaging machine installed by your service technicians after its delivery to the customer? Yes, if desired by the customer. Another option is the customer training at the manufactory plan in Vlašim (for free), then the installation may be handled by the customer.
Is a manual included in the packaging machine delivery? Yes, we provide Technical manuas and operating instructions and Electro manual, customer may choose from the following language versions: Czech, English, German or French, other languages are available on request and at an additional cost.
ABOUT SPARE PARTS
Are spare parts included in the packaging machine supply? Yes, tools and essential spare parts that wear out most by operations are included. Spare parts list is stated in the technical manual.
Do you hold spare parts in stock? Parts identical for all of our packaging machines types or those often used are in stock.
Do you provide spare parts for packaging machine? How is the order processed? Of course, we ensure the supply of all parts for packaging machines. Customer orders spare parts according to manufacturing/order numbers from the manual, the list is located at the back of the manual. Each of the packaging machines has a drawing/parts assembly, where individual parts has marked positions. These positions are also recorded in a table of respective assembly under manufacturing /order numbers that the customer uses to specify a particular part in the demand/order.
How fast is the delivery of these parts? Spare parts in stock are dispatched the same or next day, delivery of spare parts manufactured depends on the complexity of manufacture, if parts are supplied the availability depends on the supplier, generally 3-20 days. The delivery date will always be confirmed.
How to order spare parts? Spare parts can be ordered by telephone (+420 603 227 547), but the best by writing in an email.
